WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?
I photograph to share. To communicate what I saw and felt to whomever might appreciate it. My photographs are not complete until they are viewed. As I pursue my hobby of traveling the backroads, particularly in California, I never know when an image will appear around the next bend. Have you ever turned to a traveling companion and said, "Hey!, Look at that!" This is what happens when a photograph is born. A photograph can capture a moment in time with credible, convincing realism. You weren't there, but I was. This is what I saw, I found it captivating, and I'd like to share it with you. We really do co-inhabit this same planet and share in its experiences. We just aren't all at the same place at the same time. Please visit my portfolio site for a complete collection of my work. I can also be reached by e-mail. |
