Ferne has been photographing for the past twelve years. Color slides are her medium of choice and intense color is her specialty. She travels extensively in search of fine images.

Her photo journal articles appear in numerous magazines and newspapers. She is the official photographer for the annual Kodak Albuquerque International Balloon Festival for past 7 years.

Ferne teaches photography to a select group of students as well as continuing to expand her own skills through attending classes and master workshops. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the f-stops Camera Club . She can be reached at her e-mail address.
